To me, your country is extremely exotic. Sweden, on the other hand, is home. Here on the shores of Lake Siljan I find inspiration in Nature’s colour palette, which is always rich but never garish. This is where I find my natural materials, the choice of generation after generation of craftsmen – people who know every fibre and therefore can coax fabrics, threads and yarns into following new whims and ideas. Lake Siljan is where I was born, as were my mother, her mother and all the other women who are stronger than the clothes they bear.
