ORGANIC COTTON DENIM

100% organic cotton denim

The history behind denim is as timeless and durable as the material itself. Originally produced in the French city of Nîmes under the name "sergé de Nîmes" and used for workwear since the mid-19th century. The most common denim is indigo denim, in which the warp thread is dyed, while the weft thread is left white. As a result, the garments are blue on the outside and white on the inside, which creates the signature fading characteristic of denim. Organic cotton is cultivated and harvested from non-genetically modified plants, without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Note: with indigo dyed garments there is always a risk of dry bleeding. This quality is a bit heavier compared to the denim used in our spring collections. Please note that denim can differ in colour tone due to dye and wash. This is a part of denim's beauty.
