Shawl collar sweater in extra-soft 100% pure new wool with a traditional Shetland character. Ribbed shawl collar and a generous, relaxed fit. Wide full-length sleeves, finished with long ribbed cuffs and thumbholes. Ribbed bottom hem.
This sweater is fully fashioned. To knit fully fashion means that you knit each garment part separately and shape it just like you do when you hand knit. Knitting like this compared to knitting a big fabric and then cut and sew it is that you hardy waste any material at all. If you look closely at armholes and neck lines you will see the beautiful fully fashioned loops creating the shape. Counting loops, rather than centimetres, secures the high quality of our knitted garments.

Material
Extra-soft 100% pure new wool with a traditional Shetland character. Woolmark-certified. The wool fibres naturally breathe and help regulate moisture, making the knitwear comfortable to wear and well suited to layering. Wool also has natural odour-resistant properties and benefits from being aired between wears, reducing the need for frequent washing.
The wool is spun in Turkey using raw material from New Zealand and South America, then dyed in England. The garments are washed to give the knitwear a soft hand feel from the first wear.
Care
Hand wash gently or machine wash on a wool programme at a low temperature. Use a mild wool detergent and avoid fabric softener. Reshape while damp and dry flat, away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not wring or tumble dry.
Wool naturally refreshes itself, so airing the garment outdoors between wears can help release moisture and odours and reduce the need for washing. Allow the knitwear to rest between wears to help it retain its shape.
Small pills may form in areas that are rubbed during wear. This is a natural part of wearing wool knitwear. Remove them gently with a wool comb when needed.
