100% cotton fil coupé in pure indigo. Fil coupé means “cut threads” in French and describes the special weaving technique that creates this unique material. Small jacquard, or woven-in patterns are cut free on the backside of the fabric which creates a distinctive frayed look. We have used the backside as outside of this material with structure dots. Note that this material is true indigo dyed and will gradually fade in colour wash by wash. Wash inside out with similar colours and rinse well. With indigo dyed garments there is always a risk of dry bleeding. Do not use light coloured underwear under your indigo dyed garments and avoid to style with white jeans or shirts.
The raw material for this cotton is grown in USA and woven in Turkey. It is dyed in Italy according to high sustainability standards.
